Rising Music was launched in 2006 as a means for Chris Lake to release his own material. Rising swiftly became the benchmark for pure underground house – releases that included ‘One Too Many’, ‘Fantasy’ and ‘Release’ set the standard, whilst Chris has also shown that his A and R head is amongst the best in the business by signing artists that include Sebastien Leger, Micky Slim and Deadmau5. Since then, the label has evolved and as a team, Rising Music helps to promote and develop new and emerging artists. The Rising Music Podcast is the team’s opportunity to globally showcase the producers and DJs of this world who are truly on the cutting edge of great house music.
