Rising Music returns once again with a true anthem from the newest member of the rising family, this is Nelski – Body Pop!
We kick the package off with the original mix, tom lead drums, vocal percussion, big piano chords and the vocal talents of Nelski all add up to a killer dance floor tune.
Next we have a remix from the mighty Radio Slave, and he certainly doesn’t disappoint. With live keys from Tom Gandey of Cagedbaby fame, he creates an awesome deep house rework, beautiful keys, rising synths and deep piano chords all make it feel like summer is already here.
Jesse Rose turns in a deep and dirty jackin’ house version, with bumpin’ bass, heavy swung drums and pitched down vocals, this is sure to tear after hours floors apart, there’s also a handy Dub version.
The rebirth of Rising has started, and we can’t wait to show what we have coming for you next.
Check out the mixes and original below, HERE to purchase at iTunes and HERE to purchase at Beatport.

Back together once again, the production powerhouse that is Lake & Lys return to Rising Music for another piece of peak time, dancefloor madness.
Humanica picks up where La Tromba left off, a huge track featuring a harmonica played by Dirty Vegas’ Steve Smith, backed up by driving synths, heavy percussive drums and the trademark Sawtooth Lake bass line.
Sloane, on the other hand, is a classic old skool groover, chords stabs reminiscent of classic house records push the track, while vintage drum machines are perfectly juxtaposed next to modern pad sounds, all combining to send the dancefloor in to old skool ecstasy. I’m not sure where they’ve been or what they’ve been up to, but the lads are back! I remember watching them smash Shindig to pieces many years ago… at least I think it was the ‘dig… anyway, big beats, massive loud noisy vocals and just big room electronica. Nice! Here’s a link to their freebee promotional track ‘Kiss the sky‘. Bloody scary artwork, but I’m very much looking forward to hearing their new album, said to be released in 2010. Watch out!
It is with great regret that I've not been able to travel to my show tonight at Pacha in Munich, due to being unwell. I've been trying to fight this off and get fit for the past 2 days (this started 2 days ago at my gig in Tenerife), but unfortunately it's really hit me today, so I'm writing this from my bed, wrapped up in silly clothes, taking all sorts of off-the-shelf remedies, and so much vitamin c, I'm surprised I don't resemble an orange……
I wish for everyone to still have a great party, and I hope the powers that be allow me to make it up to you asap with a replacement show. Yet again, I apologise in advance for letting down Pacha nightclub, and my fans in Germany. This is the first show I've ever cancelled due to being sick and I hope it's the last.

So once again voting is almost over for this year's DJ Mag Top 100….
It's been a busy year for Chris and the Rising Music team; lots of touring, some huge successes with 'Only One' and 'If You Knew' feat the gorgeous Nastala, and just last week we launched the first Rising Music Podcast which made iTunes 'New & Notable' for a whole week!
On the 9th October we're celebrating our first 'Rising Nights' party as support to Chris, Michael Woods and the legendary Deadmau5 at Manchester's Warehouse Project. I'd say get yourself down, but apparently it's already sold out Happy days! Keep your ears to the ground though – we're giving away a few VIP tickets in the next few days!
If you are a fan of Chris Lake and his Rising Music artists; Lys, Rene Amesz, Sour Grapes etc etc…. now is the time to get your last minute votes in.
