Back to his main stable with a slight name change, Marco Lys (aka Lys) returns to Rising with a huge ethno sampling summer smash in the form of Mombasa. With Mombasa, Marco gives us his own unique twist on ethnic sample house. Tough percussive drums intertwine beautifully with a deep sub bass line, while the chanting vocal sample draws you into the massive build with its gorgeous pads and stabbing synths. Siwell takes the track into deeper, techier territory, low key drums and a walking bass line take care of the bottom end, while Siwell twists the samples with new effects, adds some rolling chords, a sax and new pads to take the track straight to the heads down dancefloors.

This is House….celebrates the very best that the house scene has to offer, with the artists reading like a who’s who of in-form production talent. David Guetta, Faithless, Deadmau5, Steve Angello, Armand Van Helden, Bob Sinclar… all on separate imprints and all brought together for this special double mix.

This is a collection of music loving labels, pooling together their catalogue to make a great compilation happen, without the red tape the typically blights projects like this. Rising Music returns once again with a true anthem from the newest member of the rising family, this is Nelski – Body Pop!

We kick the package off with the original mix, tom lead drums, vocal percussion, big piano chords and the vocal talents of Nelski all add up to a killer dance floor tune.

Next we have a remix from the mighty Radio Slave, and he certainly doesn’t disappoint.  With live keys from Tom Gandey of Cagedbaby fame, he creates an awesome deep house rework, beautiful keys, rising synths and deep piano chords all make it feel like summer is already here.

Jesse Rose turns in a deep and dirty jackin’ house version, with bumpin’ bass, heavy swung drums and pitched down vocals, this is sure to tear after hours floors apart, there’s also a handy Dub version.

The rebirth of Rising has started, and we can’t wait to show what we have coming for you next.

So, Mr Lake is travelling North America… gigging his arse off and by the looks of his tweets, it’s all going pretty damn sweet. But while the man is out of his studio back in London, his mate and new production partner Nelski has been left in charge of watering the plants and making sure the studio hasn’t caught fire…

What does Nelski do… well, being the character he is… he switches on the kit, turns on the mic and hijacks the system! The result? Just over sixty minutes of great tunes, a little insight into the man himself and possibly one of the greatest tracks about to hit Chris’ imprint Rising Music! Hold on folks… you’re in for a big one!

Rising Music’s own Italian Stallion, Lys, returns to his home stable to release his take on loop based House.

With Few Things, Lys takes the current trend of loop based House and gives it his own unique twist. The funky bass guitar, vocal sample and disco stabs are all present and correct, but Lys adds a techier edge, twisted effects and some driving synths for maximum dance floor impact.

Lys showing here just what he is capable of, Pete Tong has already taken notice, giving this its first airing on his Essential Selection, and we can’t wait to hear more from this fast rising star.
