Release Date: 31st May

In today’s undeniably cut-throat industry, it’s refreshing to see a project that embodies the spirit in which house music was born. Rather than competing against each other for the love of fans around the globe, this project sees some of the most innovative and credible labels on the circuit collaborate on this landmark compilation.

This is House….celebrates the very best that the house scene has to offer, with the artists reading like a who’s who of in-form production talent. David Guetta, Faithless, Deadmau5, Steve Angello, Armand Van Helden, Bob Sinclar… all on separate imprints and all brought together for this special double mix.

Chris comments: “Ideas like this are what excite me about this industry. This is a collection of music loving labels, pooling together their catalogue to make a great compilation happen, without the red tape the typically blights projects like this. I’m proud Rising Music is involved and look forward to seeing the reaction from the public.”

This is an upfront collection, with powerful club tracks that will be heard on dance floors internationally, with the inclusion of anthems like Bob Sinclar and Dirty South’s ‘The Russian March’, the Shapeshifters ‘Helter Skelter’, Steve Angello & AN21 ‘Swing N Swoosh’, David Guetta ‘GRRRR’, Chris Lake ‘Release’, James Talk and Ridney’s ’Forever’, and Deadmau5 & Chris Lake ‘I Said’ – all surefire summer hits.

Kieran Mansfield
, Marketing and Business Director for Defected Records comments “This is a unique project, being the first time labels of this stature have worked collaboratively to champion dance music. The fact the album will be available globally on iTunes is a huge selling point. It’s good to be working with other labels in this way, we hope it’s the first of many.”

Similar sentiments were mirrored by Stuart Knight,The Business Director of Toolroom Records;

“Toolroom are proud to be part of this pioneering compilation showcasing some of the best House labels and producers in the world.”

This release will be exclusively available on iTunes, a move that aims to encourage the profile of dance music within Apple’s online store.

This is a new movement in uniting dance music…This is House.

TrenteMoller, Dave Spoon, Sander van Doorn and even the new one from Calvin Harris‘ label (Fly Eye) “Gecko”… we don’t think this could be any more eclectic if it tried. Well done Mr Lake, well done indeed.

[Jess - Rising Digital]

Chris lake TODAY

Body Pop pack shotRising Music returns once again with a true anthem from the newest member of the rising family, this is Nelski – Body Pop!

We kick the package off with the original mix, tom lead drums, vocal percussion, big piano chords and the vocal talents of Nelski all add up to a killer dance floor tune.

Next we have a remix from the mighty Radio Slave, and he certainly doesn’t disappoint.  With live keys from Tom Gandey of Cagedbaby fame, he creates an awesome deep house rework, beautiful keys, rising synths and deep piano chords all make it feel like summer is already here.

Jesse Rose turns in a deep and dirty jackin’ house version, with bumpin’ bass, heavy swung drums and pitched down vocals, this is sure to tear after hours floors apart, there’s also a handy Dub version.

The rebirth of Rising has started, and we can’t wait to show what we have coming for you next.

Check out the mixes and original below, HERE to purchase at iTunes and HERE to purchase at Beatport.

Toolroom Knights return to London for the BIG Bank Holiday weekend, taking over Ministry of Sound on Saturday 1st May with an all-star DJ line-up that speaks for itself; Mark Knight, Benny Benassi, Chris Lake, Tocadisco (and that’d just be in the main room!)
.. ..
Following the roadblock success of February’s party, and more recently the mayhem and madness that was Toolroom Knights on the Terrace at Space-Miami during the winter music conference, Mark Knight once again leads the way for, what promises to be, another legendary Toolroom party. Special guest, Benny Benassi, makes a welcome return to the main room – his first UK appearance in over 18 months. Busy in the studio, working with chart-topping star Kelis on tracks for her forthcoming album, Benassi is guaranteed to bring the bass. Chris Lake and Tocadisco, celebrate the release of their forth-coming Toolroom Knights mix compilation and complete this stellar main room line-up.
.. ..
Over in the Bar, it’s all about the labels’ rising stars, as Toolroom’s ‘Leaders of the New School’ host the party with Filthy Rich, Pete Griffiths, Gina Star, Mark Storie and George Andrews at the controls. Upstairs in the Loft, we’re super excited to welcome UK house legend Graeme Park, playing a special 5 hour ‘classics’ set to celebrate 21 years of Gio Goi and launch their commemoratory mix album. London’s Electronic Sessions bring their Mayday Madness party onto dry land, as they moor up and take over the Baby Box with their full crew in toe.
.. ..
The Toolroom special entry offer continues – tickets purchased on the door receive a FREE Toolroom Knights CD mixed by Fedde le Grand, and for advanced ticket holders the CD will be available on the night for £5. (this CD would normally retail in stores at £12.99!!)
.. ..
There’s more…Toolroom have teamed up with Ministry of Sound to offer you the chance to win an AMAZING Prize that includes: 1 night's stay at an exclusive London boutique hotel, VIP entry for you and a friend to the Toolroom Knights May party, meet the Toolroom DJ’s, a table in VIP & drinks on the house, a year on Toolroom’s ‘Leaders Of The New School’ DJ promo list, signed Toolroom Knights CDs, a Toolroom Records CD wallet and a limited edition Toolroom Knights Miami t-shirt!
Simply check out http://bit.ly/9NIErW to find out how you can win the lot!
