Spring Break, Mojitos on tap, fast cars and more sunkissed glammed up people than you can imagine… yup… it's Miami baby!

So, Mr Lake is travelling North America… gigging his arse off and by the looks of his tweets, it’s all going pretty damn sweet. But while the man is out of his studio back in London, his mate and new production partner Nelski has been left in charge of watering the plants and making sure the studio hasn’t caught fire…

What does Nelski do… well, being the character he is… he switches on the kit, turns on the mic and hijacks the system! The result? Just over sixty minutes of great tunes, a little insight into the man himself and possibly one of the greatest tracks about to hit Chris’ imprint Rising Music! Hold on folks… you’re in for a big one!

Riva Starr is truly one of the hottest properties in everybody’s town at the moment so it would only be right for him to mix our Defected In The House Miami 10 compilation, and boy has he mixed it! This sampler showcases his slick production skills with not one, but two exclusives produced by the man himself especially for this compilation. His monster remix of the Crookers bomb, ‘Royal T’ is accompanied by a slick re work of Chris Lake & Lys ‘La Tromba’. Nuff said!!

Rising Music’s own Italian Stallion, Lys, returns to his home stable to release his take on loop based House.

With Few Things, Lys takes the current trend of loop based House and gives it his own unique twist. The funky bass guitar, vocal sample and disco stabs are all present and correct, but Lys adds a techier edge, twisted effects and some driving synths for maximum dance floor impact.

Lys showing here just what he is capable of, Pete Tong has already taken notice, giving this its first airing on his Essential Selection, and we can’t wait to hear more from this fast rising star.
